Been using the mx518 but just ordered the G400 for $30 off Amazon. Hopefully it will help increase my KDR. What DPI are you guys using?

Logitech G500 ($40 - Amazon)[/url:389ykk83] [img:389ykk83]http://ecx.images-amazon.com/images/I/51HoNxGz0wL._SL500_AA300_.jpg[/img:389ykk83] I do not install any software of Logitech. I just play like it is (It has already 3 sensitivities programmed in it).

I had one about two years ago but broke it (not due to build quality, I was a klutz and stumbled over it, resulting in the cable coming straight out of the mouse...><). IIRC, you should get 5 sensitivity settings with the SetPoint software installed. Now I'm using a Logitech MX518 set for 1600dpi.

Anyone using Steelseries? I've heard good things about their Kinzu and Xai mice. I also like the more minimal look and feel to them, been considering picking the Xai or Kinzu up to replace my MX518. Logitech mice seem clunky and I've never liked Razer mice. I [i:3jciewg2]really[/i:3jciewg2] dislike the shape of the G9x.

Logitech G9x can do 5700 dpi. Razer products look cool but they generally have poor reliability. For example, I've seen many of my friends go through Razer keyboards and mice within a year and they aren't heavy gamers and they take care of their stuff. I abuse my Logitech keyboards and mice and they last for years. The only thing I like from Razer is this Destructor gaming mat. Apparently they have a really nice headset too but I wouldn't dare touch another Razer product unless they paid me to use it (like most people I see that actually use Razer). Quite frankly, any mouse that is durable and reliable is a good mouse if you practice with it. I've heard some good things about SteelSeries mice, too. I have not tried one, yet. I thought the G9's shape looked retarded when I first saw it and started using it, but it's definitely a great shape for those that use their wrists to aim.

I've always used Razer products, the DeathAdder is probably the most well-rounded mouse they've come out with. I also use a mechanical keyboard with cherry blues. Black's are probably better for FPS games, but blues I like more for typing in general and RTS. -Temp[/color:zyilmxev]

I heard they're horrible for typing but are great for silence and gaming.
